OCTOBER: VARIOUS CLASS THEMES

October 8 - USING THE STRAP (laying down and standing) to find joint freeing and greater leg engagement in key poses

October 1 - SEQUENCE TO ABSORB YOUR POWER // THROW OFF THE CHAOS

SEPTEMBER: GETTING BACK ON THE MAT and “I’VE GOT YOUR BACK!”

After the hiatus of Leslee managing herniated disk back injury, we are BACK ON!

Sept 24 - “TADA” in TADASANA - our most important foundational mountain pose as “blueprint” for yoga and life

AUGUST THEME: “CHILL OUT!”
Gentle, restorative, slow pace. Less is more. Please have lots of props ready (2 blankets or beach towels, strap, a few blocks, bolster, chair)

AUGUST 27- last “chill” of the month; a theme of the rooting through the sacrum in gentle movement, breath inquiry, then savasana

AUGUST 13 - start sitting in chair with a few easy moves; stand for some calf love; then on the floor for relaxed supine twist and belly savasana

AUGUST 6 - mostly on the floor; gentle stretch with some deep breathing and subtle twists

JULY THEME: STANDING POSES

JULY 16 - pyramid, revolved triangle, revolved half moon

JULY 2 - set-up to standing poses month - using chair analyzing the angles and alignment of triangle and half moon

JUNE THEME: THE FEET
The feet are foundation impacting upstream alignment and function of the ankles, knees and hips. When are feet are off, it moves to the low back. We explore several unique and non-traditional exercises as well as classic "four corners" of the feet and arch analysis to really feel from "toes to pose". On and off the mat - remember to build from the feet up; relax from the shoulders down; and energize from the body's middle. Let's go....
