Another weekend immersion. 20 hours over a weekend to be in community together, deepening, refining, expanding the learning started in IMMERSION WEEKEND 1 EARLIER IN THE TRAINING (then possibly enhanced through modules, if you’ve studied any modules. The only pre-requisite for this Part 2, SECOND IMMERSION WEEKEND is to have attended Part 1 FIRST IMMERSION WEEKEND; the study in the modules is recommended but not required) .

PART 2 TOPICS INCLUDE but not limited to:

  • a much deeper dive into content introduced in Part 1
  • actionable periodization models (refined, critical seasonality strategies)
  • tips on how to boost athlete compliance with yoga
  • planning for full season, and specific class/session effectiveness
  • analysis of the anatomy of the breath, key breath practices, and how to optimize it for athletic gain
  • other anatomy modules may include the foot/ankle
  • “pre-habbing” common injuries – prevention techniques enhanced with yoga
  • small break out groups to engage, brainstorm, process, practice athlete specific presentation
  • case study development and completion – in-depth topic analysis of your choice and concentration areas
  • longer practice sequences together with the entire group to explore pose cueing for athletes;
  • more in-depth development of “your why” – updating your purpose statement with inspirational and creative exercises
  • how to even more closely work with teams and coaches in the best and most challenging situations
  • mindfulness and sports psychology in greater depth
  • special guests and more

Leslee Schenk Trzcinski: TUNE Yoga founder and national Yoga for Sports specialist, Leslee’s not your average yogi. A full-time yoga guide and coach for over 15 years, she draws from her decorated, Olympic-level and professional athletic history, her unique yoga and anatomy training credentials, and her own practices that helped her unlock her athletic potential, cope with an aging athlete body, recover from numerous injuries, and navigate motherhood, career and life. Lynne Staropoli Boucher: Lynne is a full-time Yoga Teacher/Coach through her project Yoga Revolution. As a life-long athlete and competitive Ultimate Frisbee player, Lynne combined her passions for yoga and sport by becoming nationally trained in Yoga for Athletes. In collaboration with coaches and trainers, Lynne has led over 700+ Team Yoga sessions for varsity collegiate teams in the past decade. Her leadership with college students/athletes has been recognized nationally, reflected in a national award for innovative yoga programming on college campuses, and the opportunity to speak at the White House. She is known to provide unmatched, powerful experiences of movement, meditation, and connection. In addition to Yoga for Athletes, Lynne specializes in Acro Yoga, Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga, Yoga Service, and Yoga Retreats. Brandon Williams (“BWill”): BWill is considered one of the most inspirational and transformative leaders in the Northeast. He has been described as “a genius” in what he does for athletes of all levels, ages and sports, as well as for those seeking better health and wellness, using his talents to help Clients physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. He draws from his own accomplishments as a college basketball player and deep study in strength and conditioning techniques for success as a personal trainer, life coach, and motivational speaker through his B3Fit Wellness Center in Rochester, NY. He is also a multi-instrument musician/producer/song writer/live arranger/engineer.
