100 HOUR PROGRAM DETAILS
Below outlines specific elements (weekend ‘blocks’ and modules) that combine to make up the full, 100 hour training, and certification. It is recommended for best results that the training be done in all 100 hours, and designed to offer a pacing that works for you — and can be done more quickly or can be done “self-paced” at your own discretion, when your schedule, budget and interest are aligned.
It can be a “rolling” enrollment where you can join the full 100 hour at any time and start your journey. (See FAQ below for more on that.)
Some units below will be offered as separate break-outs, specifically the Anatomy in Action modules. Please note, however, the individual module pricing is higher for a one off versus being bundled here in the full 100 hour.
In addition to the breakdown of training hours and topic details (see below), this program fosters a powerful, fun, and memorable community experience featuring interactive group sessions and deep dive interactions lead by our key teachers. It can further be enhanced by the TUNE Yoga Mentorship Program which can be used as follow-up to the training hours at any time (as can Yoga Revolution consulting, and/or B3Fit training).
Please, read on…

*2023* SCHEDULE
(All hours are EST)
APRIL: Sunday, April 23, 1pm to 6pm EST (5 hours)
MODULE: ALIGNMENT PRINCIPLES & CREATIVE SEQUENCING FOR ATHLETE PERFORMANCE
Teachers: LESLEE and LYNNE. In person.
This is a CRITICAL aspect of the training and narrows right into alignment considerations for athlete bodies, shares key pose cueing recommendations and variations of traditional and non-traditional poses, and will reveal several GREAT, tried and true practice sequences to use with athletes in your own work or your own practice. We will also spend time working in small groups to come up with a few of YOUR OWN creative sequences. This content is targeting athletes but very relevant and applicable to all. With Leslee and Lynne – at B3Fit Wellness Center, Rochester.
———–
MAY: Friday to Sunday, May 5, 6, 7 (20 hours)
(Note: this is a repeat of the (sold out) first training weekend held January, 2023 for new attendees)
INTENSIVE WEEKEND BLOCK #1: “GAME ON”
Teachers: LESLEE, LYNNE, BWILL. In person.
Topics include but not limited to:
———–
MAY: Sunday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 24 (10 hours)
MODULE: ANATOMY in ACTION; STURDY SHOULDERS + OVERVIEW OF SPINAL HEALTH
Teachers: LESLEE, and possible anatomy expert guest, to be announced. In person and on Zoom.
Accessible, applied anatomy targeting athlete’s bodies but very relevant and applicable to all. Critical, foundational information to understand when working with athletes or anyone. The incredible shoulder girdle is the most mobile joint in the body and extremely vulnerable to chronic – even serious – injury. But that doesn’t have to be the case, even for active, intense athlete imbalances and force production. Learn essential, functional shoulder anatomy; how to apply knowledge to activating the rotator cuff muscles; learn key support structures around the shoulder; understand the relationship of the main joint bones (scapula, humerus, clavicle); and gain perspective on how the shoulder “drapes” over the rib cage and why spinal alignment and vertebral health are also critical in the big picture for optimal posture, breathing, and performance. Module timing broken out as follows: Sunday, May 21 (2 parts) – 9:00am to 11:30am for anatomy lecture on Zoom with anatomical images and visuals shared and discussed; 1:00pm to 6:00pm for TUNE’s signature “anatomy in action” on the mat in person – applied practice exploring anatomy concepts within traditional and non-traditional yoga postures and movements; then a final regroup on Wednesday, May 24, back together on Zoom from 7:00pm to 8:30pm for an open Q&A and review of your practice notes, in an “ask me anything” format, which is a SUPER helpful, proven way to further process the anatomy even more powerfully, effectively, and quickly. (A short homework assignment will also be given.) With Leslee. In person work done at B3Fit Wellness Center, Rochester, NY. Also recorded.

JUNE: Sunday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 14 (10 hours)
MODULE: ANATOMY in ACTION: THE HIP, HIP FLEXORS, and GLUTE COMPLEX
Teachers: LESLEE and possible anatomy expert guest, to be announced. In person and on Zoom.
Accessible, applied anatomy targeting athlete’s bodies but very relevant and applicable to all. In this module, you’ll gain a great grasp of the complex stability / mobility equation from the hip to the spine. This is a deep dive into our body’s center of gravity – the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex, which is the start of many medical and therapy books given its importance in the body and in our movements, whether athletes or general seekers of good health. This is truly a KEY place to analyze, strengthen, mobilize, and inform for athletes (and those working with them) who are looking for competitive edge, endurance and injury prevention. We will do a “deep dive” into the hip flexors, and specifically the PSOAS, and its relationship to the glutes, the hamstrings, and the quads. Module timing broken out as follows: June 11 (2 parts) – 9:00am to 11:30am anatomy lecture on Zoom with anatomical images and visuals shared and discussed; 1:00pm to 6:00pm TUNE’s signature “anatomy in action” on the mat in person – applied practice exploring anatomy concepts within traditional and non-traditional yoga postures and movements; then a final regroup on Weds, June 14, back together on Zoom from 7:00pm to 8:30pm for an open Q&A and review of your practice notes, in an “ask me anything” format, which is a SUPER helpful, proven way to further process the anatomy even more powerfully, effectively, and quickly. (A short homework assignment will also be given.) With Leslee. In person work done at B3Fit Wellness Center, Rochester, NY. Also recorded.

ANYTIME THAT FITS YOUR SCHEDULE
This is part lecture and part practice and is another cornerstone in how to work effectively with athletes, or be key information to apply to your own body, sport participation and practice. Topics covered include, by section:
OCTOBER: Sunday, October 15 and Wednesday, October 18 (10 hours)
MODULE: ANATOMY in ACTION: COMPREHENSIVE CORE STUDY AND ANALYSIS
Teachers: LESLEE. In person and on Zoom.
Accessible, applied anatomy targeting athlete’s bodies but very relevant and applicable to all. Understand and teach from how the layers and differing fiber directions of our comprehensive core (front, side, back) dramatically impact both athletic performance and general healthy functional movement. The core can become an energy leak in sport performance, most typically toward the end of a long game, hard race, or grueling set. It’s vital to use both repetition and variation to strengthen and mobilize the core’s layers – from the shoulders to the glutes. And, did you know, many posture experts believe the muscles in the back should be 30% stronger than the rest of the torso core for optimized posture and performance. Module timing broken out as follows: Sunday, October 15 (2 parts) – 9:00am to 11:30am anatomy lecture (with Leslee) on Zoom with anatomical images and visuals shared and discussed; 1:00pm to 6:00pm anatomy in action in person (with Leslee, Lynne and BWill) – applied practice exploring anatomy concepts within traditional and non-traditional yoga postures and common sports actions and functional movements; then a final regroup on Wednesday, October 18, back together on Zoom from 7:00pm to 8:30pm for an open Q&A and review of your practice notes, in an “ask me anything” format, which is a SUPER helpful, proven way to further process the anatomy even more powerfully, effectively, and quickly. (A short homework assignment will also be given.) In person work done at B3Fit Wellness Center, Rochester, NY. Also recorded.
